Today, Y&Y gave a platform to John Cruddas MP and other critics of the Tax Payers' Alliance. I lost count of the number of times the phrase 'right wing' was used in a such a way as to convey that, at best, the TPA ought to worry all decent people and that, at worst, it's deeply sinister. The gist was that because the TPA is on the right of political thinking it is obviously working against the interests of the citizenry and for a dark neo-conservative (Cruddas actually said this) coterie of some sort, and therefore must be condemned. Self-evident, innit, constable?

But then, assuming that we're in the run-up to an election given Brown's string of non-denial denials, it is only to be expected that Pravda will now engage in a stronger than usual and concerted attack on Conservative philosophy and free market thinking, in accordance with their sponsor's interests.
