Surely what St. Pol meant to say was: "most people should want Labour to win"
The measure of how fucked up Gordon's Labour party is is that his own clients on benefits, in state employment and subsisting on other state handouts; do not vote for him.
This group is, by Tony's careful social engineering, now the majority.
Pol is frustrated that they are either too stupid to vote, or smart enough to see the disaster that GB he wrought, even for them.
She means most civil servants since the Guardian is largely read by such (& indeed is a fakecharity funded, through its advertisements by them). Those of us who are not government parasites are not counted as people but merely as cattle.
They simply don't accept that humanity extends beyond the Guardianista class.
