The Bank of England has summoned the City's leading economists to an unprecedented meeting in Threadneedle Street [next Tuesday] as the pound plunges amid growing confusion over its radical Quantitative Easing (QE) policy.
So is our conference.
ReplyDeleteOh joy. Oh well, if we're going to be buggered by the IMF because our economy is collapsing and the pound is becoming worthless let's get it over with. Perhaps we should send 'World statesman of the year' (Honestly!) to sort it all out...that's if he's not too busy saving the world of course.
