The founder of the British Union of Fascists was a prominent Fabian and friend of Labour Prime Minister Ramsay Macdonald in whose government he was a minister, who, after the Second World War, advocated a single nation-state covering the continent of Europe.
The surreal (are they on palliative drugs already?) Labour Party political broadcast (final cut here) shows old footage of Mosely but strangely the voice-over omits some important facts about him, instead claiming that Mandela and Obama were members of the London Labour Party in the 1930s and fought the Battle of Cable Street*. Or something.
