Future history

Like the stone age did not end because we ran out of stone, the oil age will not end because we ran out of oil.

  2. I recently read (but cannot find it again yet) that oil is not a fossil fuel. The earth makes it somehow. I always thought the story of zillions of little sardines being squeezed for their omega 3 was a load of old tosh.

A bit like we are all descended from Kenyans. Garbage. And I'm buggered if I want to be related to jug-ears in the White House.

  3. The Oil Age has already ended; the Atomic Age barely existed long enough to be noticed.

We are now in the Information Age; my knowledge of it, and of human life expectancy, means that I expect to out-live it.

I'm not sure what comes next, but I expect it has either a biological or a perennial mixed basis; that is until the Age of the Warp Drive or the Age of Time Travel. The latter is of course, as an Age, somewhat problematic.

    Best regards
