Summer Staccato: 2010 edition

Sorry about the on-off silence. Holidaying, kind of, and when not that, in the garden enjoying the summer. We don't get much summer warmth here in England, what with all this global warming, so one has a duty to make the effort and get the deck-chairs and Pimms out, I feel, before the glass starts its annual descent and the next, very overdue, Ice Age begins.
